Best season of the year!

March brings great opportunities.  Warmth, clean streets, new life, melted terrain.  One of my favorite places to go once the weather starts turning is New Buffalo.  My wife and I ventured to New Buffalo today and enjoyed our usual favorites: Redamak’s, Four Winds, the beach, Round Barn Winery.  While these may seem like such basic locations, Redamak’s, for us, marks the beginning of the best season of the year.  It is only open March through October, so that first trip is a sign of great things to come.

This week ahead I aim to start planning track workouts, put my mind to where to improve on last year’s performances, and how to reach out to the other athletes of Kolmar to help them to see the countless cross-sport benefits participating in track and field has.

It’s almost here, the best season of the year.  No, not spring, but TRACK SEASON!  Robin Redbreast has yet to show it’s head, but when it does, you know those Sandburg Eagles, North Central Cardinals, and Kolmar Mustang runners will be there to welcome it!
