Step Crazy

One of the most common conversations I have throughout the day is that of step counting via FitBit.  It has been a craze among the staff at Central Park which has grown to become a daily part of life.

Even several members of the parent and student bodies have joined the craze! This year the weekly challenges have become quite intense, usually with three to five people all coming within a few thousand steps of each other.

I love it.  I hear ladies discussing of how they walked home, or made sure to get an extra workout in, or how they marched in place while watching their soap operas (at 4:30am, cough, cough.)  It is a friendly competition, but it really helps to keep us motivated, and motivated for a great cause-our health!

Happy stepping!

“It is a friendly competition, but it really helps to keep us motivated, and motivated for a great cause-our health!” is my favorite line, shows the hard work, inspiration, and the joy from this very simple thing!
